Hot Copper Leaves

About this design:

I've had these leaves hanging around for more weeks than I can remember. My original idea for them just wouldn't work the way I wanted it to.

Plan B... Just watch them and hope for some inspiration. It finally arrived a couple of days ago. All I had to do was make a bunch of jump rings, and find a good way to separate the leaves.

Time to check the stash and see what I could find. I found these rudraksha (I think I spelled that right) seed pods. Big enough, bold enough but didn't take over the design.

The colors in the copper were created with a torch and it was difficult to get the light just right for photos. The darker version was shot with just enough of a turn on the bust to cut the glare. The lighter ones were shot straight down and only required a small adjustment. Still haven't added a clasp but that is the easiest part.

I apologize for the ratty bust. All of my good ones were used at the farmers market on Friday and I haven't unpacked them.

A word of wisdom my friends.... Indecision is the key to flexibility! Don't make up your mind until you have to!
