Asymmetric

About this design:

I have been fighting asymmetry for a while now, so I decided to take the plunge! This is my first attempt at an asymmetrical piece and I found it wasn't as hard to overcome my "need to fix the wrongness".
The focal bead is from a handmade bracelet that my husband bought a few years ago. I loved the bead but the bracelet was too big so I have been trying to figure out what to do with it for sometime now! I really like how it turned out!

Components:

glass lampwork focal bead, various czech glass, shell pearls, rice pearls, garnet, red glass beads, 22 and 24 gauge silver wire, 24 gauge bronze wire, vintaj leaf toggle

Oh I like this – very nice use of the colors, and the asymmetry gives it “texture” if you will – looks like a fun piece to wear! Plus I am partial to lampwork beads that are different like this one!

Thank you so much everyone for the encouraging comments! I have a slight sense of ocd when it comes to jewelry and usually when I do something and it doesn’t match it drives me crazy! lol I tried not to think too much about it! I have found now that I like doing asymmetric pieces! It is quite liberating! ;)
