Cotopaxi Chickie Sue says:Wow! You had another one of those opals??? Did you steal them or something??? LOL! This is absolutely stunning, and I love how you finished off the base of the stone. What gauge wire did you use?

Aqua Chickie Cat says:Thanks, C Chickie Sue; this is 20 gauge wire. And to reply to your insinuation, in these parts, the ground is covered with precious stones, but the locals only take fish
. I have no fish. That’s the short version

Aqua Chickie Cat says:Thank u Valentine Chick! I was pleased with the bottom part. It turned out just like I hoped. The top was not so cooperative, though. I had a cool looking idea for the bail, but it wasn’t practical (functional), and this big loop was the only way I could get it to hang properly. This is the first pendant I made for sale.

Dragons Chicky says:Looks good enough to eat but probly a bit hard on the teeth…truly a most spectacular stone!! The wrapped loop works and looks great at the top. I’ll bet you had multiple buyers/wanters!!
