Single layer leather wrapping technique is on Lima Beads website.

I bought a couple of online tutorials to learn multi-layer leather wrapping: http://www.etsy.com/shop/4petessake

The seller was very prompt in sending the PDF and the tutorials are well-written. I modified the three-layer method to eliminate using metal wire as a joint. The seller prohibits distribution of her tutorials as she would like folks to purchase them. I respect her wishes – afterall, she is one of us beaders!

Lovely! You do great work-so evenly spaced and great stitching! I have figured out how to do these just by looking very carefully at how they are made.

This is a lovely bracelet, however, I don’t believe in paying for a tutorial…I mean, really? I think it’s possible to look at a photo and figure out how something’s made….

Also, the ladies at my beadshop teach all manner of techniques…I am there often, and they won’t let me pay for a class, as I am beyond what they teach. They will give me 15 minutes of their time to let me study a peice and teach me something knowing I will be back for a purchase and to direct someone else to their shop.

    That’s what it’s all about.
