Copper'n'lime earrings
About this design:
A flourish of copper wire, jump rings, lime green seed beads, copper daisy spacers, chain and ear wires are the framework for these ornate dangly earrings.
I love copper wire in all its states – from bright and bold fresh off the wire roll, through to a darker patina as it ages and is exposed to the air. Fresh off the roll and you notice the bright copper first, then the green beads. As the wire ages the beads seem brighter.
The earrings on the left feature some of my favourite beads in the dangle – a matte metallic background with clear circular ‘windows’. They have an other-worldly feeling – are they beads or tiny meteorites?
On the right I've used size 6 green seed beads, plus copper daisy spacers in two different sizes.
