Race for a Cure
About this design:
A friend approached me to make earrings for her Race For The Cure team. The walk helps raise money for breast cancer research and awareness programs. What do you think? Which pair is your fav?

Retro By Design says:OMG…they are all so pretty…but…the one that caught my eye was the one on the 1st additional imgages…the ones with the butterflies. I believe that the butterflies signify freedom. 2nd choice would be the next to last image that has the copper hearts. But I do love them all! Thanks for sharing.

Julie Shane says:First: I am NOT a pink person. Second: I love them ALL!!! My first fave was the bicone and lucite flower and butterflies. My next faves became the rondelles with dragonflies and the oval frames with crystals. My most fave is the pearl and Vintaj teenie leaf.
I think you offer all of them to the team. They each select the pair that INSPIRES them the most. They don’t have to match… they are all from the same heart and all for the same cause! What could be better???

Julie, I’m not a pink person either! The only pink I had in my stash was the rhodochrosite, which I got YEARS ago at a bead show! And, yes! My friend requested 10 pair, and I have 15(at the moment!). I am offering all, and will give the rest to my co-workers. I will probably make more, as I have suddenly found making earrings to be rather Zen-like…
My fav is the pair in the main pic, followed by the pair with thye pearls and teensie leaves!

CAS says:A friend’s Mom has recently opened up a shop (knitting/sewing/handcrafted things), and has asked to show my pieces. I’ve been on an earring making kick too, and yes, it is quite “Zen-like” when you get in the groove.
These are all lovely, despite being “pink”. I may have to “steal” an idea or two. I especially like the biwa pearls and the beads hoops in the 5th picture.
