About this design:
I had these colorful heat treated washers left over from the necklace I made with washers and chain. The turquoise is left over from the silver filled bracelet material. Guess this could be called "Left Over Ear Rings" since none of the components were purchased specifically to make ear rings.
Components:
heat treated copper washers, small turquoise nuggets, niobium ear wiresRead the comments (or add your own)

Asia says:Love those, did you flame the copper yourself? Just started experimenting with torch and not always do I get that lovely flamed look

Little Round Chick says:Thanks Alice and Asia.
Yes, Asia, I did the flame treatment. I’ve been playing with the torch for quite some time and I still have trouble getting the color I want. Most of the time I use the flame on the back side so it is always a surprise when I turn the piece over.

Medieval Momma says:I’ve got a torch, just haven’t summoned the courage to use it yet. These earrings might be just the inspiration I need.

Little Round Chick says:MM, I had my torch for at least 2 years before I finally worked up the courage to use it. My successes have ranged from lightly toasted to burnt black. My best advice is just do it!

Asia says:Thank you again, I am very new to beading, so far I managed to ball copper wire and flame it without consistency.
