a little bird told me to make this

About this design:

I wanted to share this necklace made from components out of my pick of the same name. This was my first time using the magatama beads. They are really fun. This necklace was the first piece that I sold at a craft show Saturday morning. I made the other necklace at the same time as well as the earrings.

Components:

Nunn Designs small bird tag, 3mm magatama, czech glass in chartreuse & dark bronze, Tierracast labyrinth charms from LB. copper spacers, wood beads and various findings from my stash.

What great ways to use the chartreuse elements! I especially like the horse eyes. I’ve been leery of those, not being sure how to use them, but they look really good the way you’ve placed them. All the pieces are interesting and lovely. Congrats!

Thoroughly charming – - love both necklace designs, but my fave is the one with the horse eyes. The earrings are all great, too. Glad to hear you found some customers on Saturday !

I like them both, but the one with the horse eyes is my fav. Did you create the wire wrapped beads yourself? They look fab!
Also love the chartruese/copper combo in the entire collection. Congrats on your sale!

    Thanks, ladies!
Susie, they are not actually wire wrapped beads. I linked together several jump rings, then put the beading wire through them so that they stacked onto each other. I really like the effect.

I can see why that was the first to be snatched up on Saturday– it’s really nice. I agree with most of the posters on here: chartreuse & copper are totally rockin’ together. Great eye!
