About this design:
Wanted to try the irish waxed linen I have bought from lima. A thing I notised and actualy thought about bf starting was that I should have washed the beads. I didn't I was to impatient... But next time I will because dirt gets stucked in the wax. Now I washed this after it was done.
However I love the peruvian opals and the czeck opals and troubled water rondels and and... The troubled waters rondels contains flashes of purple so I put a amethyst as a dangle in the end. I wanted to have some gunmetal spacers but I had no that fits the design and I didn't have a vintaj natural brass clasp to go with the design, so it become like this. Why is it that on always miss something in ones stach?? Don't understand that.
Components:
Czeck, Peruvian Blue Opal, Green Aventurine, Amethyst, Lava Rock, Shell Pearls, Vintaj spacers, Gunmetal Lobsters, Irish waxed linen Sage. Everything but the amethyst and lava rock are fro Lima.Read the comments (or add your own)

Laud says:Love the colors, and that’s a great way to use the big Czech squares, which are sometimes too much for a necklace. Good job!

Elis Mom says:Wow Frida! This is so pretty! Wonderful composition. I’m going to have to try the waxed linen, too!

Julie Shane says:Great piece Asia! I agree with you. The piece sort of “grows” and becomes it’s own as you work with it. I like the addition of the little amethyst bauble at the toggle.
I like the Irish waxed linen. I have a couple more pieces in mind. I am in love with the cute little dangles. It’s an interesting change in style. Fun and whimsical, but still polished and appropriate.

Too many calories this weekend and it’s affecting my brain as well as my middle.

Robin, the small pointy beads are vintaj natural brass, if it was them you thought about?

puppychick labratbecky says:Beautiful design, Frida! I totally understand about that one missing piece in the stash! My husband, however does not understand when I buy things just in case.
You HAVE to have it on hand!!
I would not have even thought you were intending something different if you hadn’t told us, though. This is FABULOUS as is!!

Batticat says:I love your bracelet, Frida! I haven’t had time to check out the latest jewelry pieces until today, and this one really caught my eye. The colors, variety of shape and size, really beautiful. I have always wanted to try something with the linen cord , but hadn’t thought of a bracelet! Thanks for sharing.
