Hummingbird Don't Flyaway
About this design:
This is a necklace I made for my Mom's birthday. I.had the hummingbird pendant for 2 or 3 years but because of where the loop was on the back he wouldn't hang right. So I kept putting back in the box
When I started sorting through all my beads after unpacking them I found the little glass flower beads and an idea was born. Sorry but nothing in this comes from Lima because I had not yet discovered it.
I included one photo from before the leaf was added. That bird still wouldn't hang right.
Components:
Hummingbird pendant, purple glass beads made into a bead chain, various lengths of chain from my stash, leaf component taken off a necklace I bought just for the parts, 1 oval connector, 2 small bead charms at clasp, and various little flower/leaf beads wired to tje leaf.Additional Images:

Sounds like something I’m always saying around Labor Day each year when our hummingbirds begin their migration south…I miss them before they are even gone

Her birthday was the day before Thanksgiving and I gave it to her at the family dinner.
She was happy with it. She loves hummingbirds and has a rather large collection of hummingbird themed jewelry, pictures, decorative items,….you get the idea.

Laud says:I think you found a great solution to the hummingbird problem. The leaf looks like it always belonged with the bird. Re the tilting, if you use Photoshop, you can rotate really easily.
