"Big Ball" Christmas Brooch

About this design:

Well, ladies, since I really did not like that Big Ball, I decided to re-structure it. Carefully, opening it with my nylon-lined pliers, I created a flower!
The brooch I made can be worn on a coat or sweater. Be careful, though, when you hug someone...it might be dangerous! LOL

Components:

Big Ball; cranberry shell pearls; green artistic wire; head pins and pin clasp

What a clever solution to the BB problem! It looks like it was always intended to be a brooch.

Another fabulous big ball design :D Love it, very creative!

I thinking of buying that nylon coated plier me too, seems to be great when working with such thing as bending a ball and plated wires.

    Beautiful! Love the idea!

I said this before, but when I got my “big ball” I thought it was broken, didn’t realize it was made like that. I’ve been trying to think of something to do with it in an “open” state, but not quite like your gorgeous pin!

Hi Maria, I’m coming back for a second look at all the BB projects. Then realized I never commented when I first looked at it.
I love this idea. Great way to show BB who is really in charge. My BB has become cooperative but still not kind.
I have a red coat and this would be perfect. I’d like a pair of earrings of the pearls and wire. The the center would really pop! :)
