Heart & Pearls

About this design:

I should start off by saying this is a knock-off of a knock-off. The original was a necklace on Anthropologie which was knocked off on a blog called Flamingo Toes. Neither of those versions had a pendant. I saw a version with a pendant but I don't remember where or I would credit her.
Its basically just bunch of jump rings and charms and a pendant. The original used chain and different size jimp rings. I used suede cord and one size jump ring from a stetchy bracelet I got on sale, the little charms were 2 bundled sets clearanced for $1 each set, and pendant another sale deal. I'm all about the bargains.

This is a gift for my sister-in-law.

I'm also including a photo of the original pendant. Have no idea where I got it but decided not to use it when I went in a familiar discount store and that heart was on bunches of stuff.

I just slighty tweaked this. Added 2 more pearl charms and changed out 1 for a better one. I'm never satisfied..

Components:

Heart pendant. Suede cord. 2 sets of pearl and crystal charms. Large jump rings. 2 oval connectors. Lobster clasp.

Holy moly..I love this style+design! Nice work with knocking off the knock off. You really got a lot of look, for a bargain price. Deb..doesn’t it make the “real” price almost seem silly, when you can do this? Way to go!!

Deb, This is so cute. I am SO into Keep It Simple! All those little jump-rings add up to a big statement because it LOOKS so complex. I’m not really a “heart” person (I’m into angels) but you are right, hearts are everywhere this year.

Thank you. The pendant is.what makes it really. I got lucky when I found it on sale plus one of those weeks.where you could is the 10% or 20% percent off yoir entire purchase. The other heart was nice but just didn’t stand out.

Hey just saw your question sorry. Hopefully you will see.my answer. It was about 26-28 on each side. But these came off a stretch bracelet I bought specifically to take apart for this. The reason being the jump rings were bigger than any that you could buy. And I mean that the actual metal was heftier. So if you make your own or can get bigger ones I would use them. I tried it with regular jump rings. I just didn’t like the look. Too
light if you know what I mean?
There are step by step instructions on the flamingo toes blog. It is for the chain version but it does help.
