Deb,I like everything about these. It’s the little details that catch my eye. In this case,it’s the little crystals that enhance the leaves. Nice work!

  8. Deb Harding
    Deb Harding says:

Thank you Nancy. I have 2 of those leaves with the little crystals on each piece of the set. I think I added them after taking photos of the necklace though.

The necklace was making me mad but now it is finished. I changed it a tiny bit on the side with the three chains. LOL I thought I had squeezed those blasted jump rings together!

I never thought of opening the petal of the bead caps. Very clever. These really are very pretty!

  14. Deb Harding
    Deb Harding says:

I could have sworn I saw some earrings you made that did exactly that?

  15. Elis Mom
    Elis Mom says:

Very similar, but I didn’t open the petals of the bead caps. I did open the petals on one of my bracelets, though!

    Julie Shane says:

Very nice Deb! The dangles are subtle so she will probably love them! :)
Again, I love the soft blue patina on the brass. Thanks BTW… I ordered another pack of patina paints just so I could get this blue! Shame on you !!! ;) Now we’ll both have blue fingers.

  17. Deb Harding
    Deb Harding says:

Thank you Julie. I debated and debated on which patina to get. Looked at the spring rain projects here, looked on vintaj’s website. That color and the amethyst seemed the closest to Monet’s colors. Then I wound up using only the blue because it matched those pearls perfectly. I loved the verdigris effect of the entire piece. Like I said in the necklace description..it made itself. That was not the design in my head at all.
