African Earth
About this design:
Beyond pearl knotting again. I don't think this is finished, but can't think how else to embellish it.
Components:
Silk cord, fiber chain, copper chain, some sort of stone barrel, African glass beads, millifiori beads, copper daisy spacers.Read the comments (or add your own)

Maria, this is a lariat and has no clasp. It stays in place simply by tying the first half of a square knot.

Thed lady who showed me how to make these adds lots of dangly things to hers, and they tend to be “busy”, but they look fabulous! She is very talented and has a great eye for color and texture…I have learned much from her, but am still trying to develop my own aesthetic…
