Double the Fun
About this design:
Fired up the old butane torch today to try making ball head pins. Not successful with copper. Maybe my torch doesn't get hot enough or I tried too heavy a gauge. But, instant success with sterling! The earrings were made by adding a glass bead onto the wire after balling one end. Then holding the bead up out of the way with long locking tweezers, I balled up the other end. I kept the oxidation on the ends because I loved the two toned look this gives the earrings.

Asia says:Great job, I’m new to beading, but I did play a little bit with the torch,I noticed that the torch has to be full to get the right heat, butane will be sufficient for copper wire gauge 20 and up, for anything thicker you need a propane, good luck
