About this design:
Another stash piece. I got the Mermaid Wisdom pendant a long time ago with an idea in mind about what to do with it...I couldn't make it work, so it sat for a long time. I finally decided to string it with pretty beads that reminded me of the beach. My only regret is I didn't have a more organic looking clasp.
Components:
GGS Mermaid Wisdom pendant, Potato pearls, keishi pearls, crystals, MOP teeth, appetite, Aquamarine, pyrite,Czech glass, pearl drops, copper spacers, toggle clasp.Read the comments (or add your own)

Deb Harding says:Wow Susie…all I got to say is you have one great stash. Hmmm I actually see some shell beads that I also have…
Very pretty Susie.

Julie Shane says:Very pretty. Love the subtle asymmetry in the beads. It looks like some patina paint on the pendant and toggle. Right? Blue or purple?

Crazy Beader says:You achieved a magnificent balance among your elements – - it feels like a lovely, leisurely stroll along the beach ! Don’t worry about the clasp – - everyone’s eyes will focus on all the fabulous beads (and who looks at the back of your neck anyway ??)

Nancy Mc says:Very beautiful!! Can you believe the Apatite bead was he first thing that grabbed my eye?
Something about that stone! Love the addition of the pearls,as well.

Need4Beadz says:An eclectic mix that came together well. I love the colors, design– and the focal bead is superb. Great work!

Medieval Momma says:I think the clasp looks fine, it doesn’t detract from the focal and it fits both color and size wise with the rest. I really like the finished product, one of my faves!

Deb, my stash is the result of many years of bead purchases without alot of designing going on. I suppose I am a bead hoarder
Julie, no patina. It’s just the way the photos turned out!
CB, I wore a necklace the other day, and someone asked me point blank to see the clasp! I always try to be sure they are interesting, and even put them up front if possible! Thank you ever so much for the positive feedback!
