The Opera Choice
About this design:
My husband & I were invited to see "The Flying Dutchman" in a neighboring town. I'm thinking oolala an opera(flipping of the hair required when saying that). I made this and then chose what I was going to wear. I wore a LBD and heels; get there and women are dressed in slacks and sandals. What a let down!! Plus, the opera was in German! But they did have a tellaprompter. Did I spell that right, Deb?

Bur actually I think its TelePrompTer apparently because that is what my phone corrected me to.
Your necklace is very elegant. I’m sure you looked 3 times better.than anyone else there. I had the same thing happen to so I know what you’re talking about. My friend Kathy and I got tickets to the opening of a
play in the renovated original theater in my home town. It was a murder mystery and there was a wine and cheese social after. Playbill said semi-formal. We wear really nice cocktail dresses. Most women were in slacks.
Disappointing.

I looked up telaprompter on the computer dictionary. Prompter was listed but no telaprompter. I’ve heard that word before haven’t you?

She wears a humongous teased wig with bows all over, plaster face make-up, and those house duster things old women wear. And slippers. She also.apparently hides little things.she steals in the wig. Weird!

JenniferLynn says:My daughter is in high school and girls wear their pjs. I would not even go in public in my sweats until I was over 35! No kidding! No PJs in public for me ever! Nor slippers! My second job was at Sears, back then the women were not permitted to wear slacks! I loved that job too bad the clothes I spent all my money on don’t fit!
