Kate says:Wow that sea glass is just GLOWiNG!
Between finding whole shells and “Petoskey” stones, sea glass was the next “big deal” when my little brother and I played beach-combers on Lake Michigan in the summer… My best find, though, was on the shores of Lake Erie, near Buffalo: Bright blue, as wide as my thumb!

Nancy Mc says:These are just beautiful. I love sea glass!
I’d love to wear all 3 of those,at the same time.
It’s nice that you used ball headpins, for a little added flair.

Kate says:Suz- yep, ocean folks are often surprised by the Great Lakes. Did you know it’s surfing season here in Michigan now?? Yep, waves on the upper Lake Mich get rolling in February.. break out the drysuits!
On Jan 25, 2013 at 10:48 am #
puppychick labratbecky says:Drysuits instead of wetsuits means the water is RELLY cold.
How cold can you go and still surf?
