About this design:
The matte-ness of the varigated blue beads fell in love with the matte apple green leaves. The pearls fell in love with the blues. So I had to find a way to keep them all together.
Finally finished the earrings. They move a bit when I move.
Components:
LimaBeads: Czech apple green matte leaf. Twilight pearls. Pewter floral lobster clasp. Stash: Czech varigated blue rounds.Read the comments (or add your own)

Laud says:Wonderful! I see why they all fell in love with each other–they’re made for each other.

Deb Harding says:Very nice Julie. The colors were made for each other. So….tell me how the blue beads are atrached…can’t figure it out.

JenniferLynn says:Love it. All the colors are in sync w/one another.

Science Chick Runs Sibes says:As this scrolled into view, it looked like the edge of a pot of African Violets. Don’t you love it when stones fall in love and demand that you make them into a design? You succeeded with this gorgeous design.

puppychick labratbecky says:It looks like a blueberry patch! Woohoo!! Love it when you have help from the beads!

Julie Shane says:Deb: I used tiny stretchy cord and made a circle of 5 for the blue beads and teeny-tiny silver beads with the knot hidden in a blue bead. I strung 2 pearls, a leaf, a pearl with the circle “around” it, then a leaf and 2 pearls. So the circle actually “floats around” the pearl.

Peggy3 says:Gorgeous ! The colors, leaves and mattes beads work so well. I noticed the bead circles . They look awesome. I guessed they were made with stretchy cord. I am a newbie. ha ha

Julie Shane says:Peggy: I tried wire for the little circles but they became stiff and the crimp bead was out of proportion. Try stretchy cord. It’s fun and easy… and quick.

Elis Mom says:Julie, I love the colors and your design! Thanks for sharing your secret about making bead rings. Sounds like a breeze! I’ve been making them the hard way!

Deb Harding says:Oh…see some photos I cant tell what’s going on because things are so tiny on the phone screen. Then when you zoom in it gets blurry. Thanks for that info…its kinda what I thought but wasn’t sure.

Crazy Chick Frida says:Love this Julie! I was thinking ohh Julie must have done those beadrings with her beloved strechy cord and then I read the comments

Peggy3 says:Thanks Julie. I did think maybe wire but the circles looking way too bouncy for that.
I was working on piece this week. Same idea with the circle and wire. Looked awful and the crimp bead stuck out. I went to Michaels today to get stretchy cord. That were out of the size I wanted which seems to be common there for a lot of beading supplies . I have better luck ordering online and saving gas money. Lol.
Your work is beautiful. Always a different design

Julie Shane says:Finally came up with earrings that I like. They “float” around even more than the bracelet.
