Green For Growth
About this design:
Green is for new life, balance, growth. So here's hoping that I will achieve some balance and stability in my life and to the continued growth of all the new friendships I have been lucky enough to find here on Lima Beads. And that this new year brings a new life for me.
Components:
New Jade. Light & dark green dyed freshwater pearls. Bali style silver bead caps and large silver bead. Silver findings. S-lon cord.Additional Images:

On another note, I thought of you tonight. ha ha I was @ Michael’s. They had the most beautiful brown oblong wood beads w simple flowers etched into them. I loved them but didn’t buy since they were not 40% off. I also hit the bargain bin and all that was left was a lone lampwork bead. All the bargain hunters scooped them all up. Lol

Jennifer…I read your comment…were you referring to your own designs not being so great and getting compliments? That’s what it sounded like to me. I’ve had that feeling at times also. But my thoughts on that are everyones work deserves merit. Everyones work
is different, everyones idea of what looks good is different. I can also appreciate a design that I might particularly want to wear myself. So these ladies are here supporting everyones unique sense of style and lecel of workmanship. I know that my work has improved 10x since I discovered Lima. So every compliment I get I appreciate and I try ecen harder.

Deb Harding says:That 2 for sale where stuff was basically 40% off. All reds were $2 & greens 2 for $7. I usually shop only 3 sections. Findings/chain/cord, metal beads/spacers, & wood & pearls. Not much else really.

Y’all are so right about how great LB is. I’ve been reading and posting on this site for ages and it always one of the first things I check each morning. There have been many times when I’ve finished a design that I had fiddled around with and changed so much I could no longer tell if it was worth keeping or should go into the closet. This wonderful group of on line beading friends have come to my rescue more that once when I’ve posted photos of questionable designs. Three cheers for Lima Beads and all of the on line friends!
