Mod Squad Necklace
About this design:
I have a ton of Lucite to go through, so I put this necklace together. I was going to list it on the Etsy shop, but, I'm not so sure....
Components:
Vintage Lucite hoops and drops, Amythist cubes, Swarovski crystals, nylon fiber chain, brass lobster clasp.Additional Images:

Elis Mom says:Thanks, Ladies! Asia, i made a wrapped loop with the amy cubes, and used a jumpring to connect the hoop. Then strung them all on beading wire, which I attched to the chain with jump rings.
I’m thinking I may take out the bit of chain above the hoops to make a more smooth transition. Need to sleep on it…

Frida, the whole necklace is very lightwieght. It hangs nicely on a an average size person, but not so well on someone who is a bit “heavier”.
A friend gave me a big bag of her castoffs. Some is junk, but some can be McGyvered. In with the junk is a nice long piece of vintage brass chain. I just might redo this necklace with the vintage chain rather than the nylon.

Isn’t interesting how different a necklace can be on different peresons. It can be a pain though when it wont hang as one want it to.
