About this design:
I've been stumped on how to use these yellow jade squares in a leather wrap. I finally came up with this ombre pattern to showcase their beautiful variance. I tried using a random mix but I like square beads in a planned out pattern. Just me.
Components:
Yellow Jade, Tiger's eye, Toho seed beads, Czech glass. Leather cord and TierraCast flower button from LB.Read the comments (or add your own)

Mary S - Sweet Chick says:So very beautiful! Great colors and design!
If I may ask, how do you keep the square beads from flipping over? I’ve tried running the thread through twice and making it as tight as I can. But the square beads still want to keep spinning around instead of lying flat. Or maybe that’s just their nature?

SquirrelGirl says:Thank you all for your compliments!
I have the same problem with square beads that are flat and have only one hole so for flat squares or tiles I only use the ones with two holes that way they can’t flip.
However these are not flat they are a cube so they are fit snugly up to one another and don’t flip.
I wish I could find more of these cubes in different stones. I really like them.

puppychick labratbecky says:Very cool!! I have done rectangles that also flip over but the person who bought them said she liked to be able to play with them.
Kind of like abacus beads or something.

Julie Shane says:I know these bracelets are SO popular, but I just don’t “get it” … so maybe I’m just not cool enough.
This is the BEST wrap bracelet I’ve seen. Maybe it’s the square beads! Maybe it’s the ombre. Maybe it’s the tiger eye. Maybe I’m *finally* getting cool??? Anyway… I’m finally loving this style of bracelet.

Deb Harding says:Well I get it. I love wrap bracelets and really need to try this. A funky casual way to have LOTS of stones/color encircle your arm.

I’m getting a new shipment of 4mm square beads tomorrow in amethyst, carnelian and pyrite, oh the possibilities. Yea! (Oh stop, you all know how exciting it is to get your bead shipments)
