Be Square

About this design:

Guess I’m just a square girl at heart - - although this is the first totally square necklace I’ve ever made. And it was one of those pieces that just kind of designed itself. Finished length 18 inches.

Components:

From Lima Beads: Amazonite Puff Square 8mm, Czech Glass Opaque Beige Picasso Square 9mm. Other components: Matte gold-plated squares 10 mm, Miyuki opaque chocolate seed beads (sizes 6 and 8) aqua luster seed beads (sizes 6 and 8), gold plated spacers, gold-plated lobster clasp.

I think it’s hard to use square components,so I’m impressed with this arrangement. Using only squares works so well. The colors are soothing but those unexpected touches of gold keeps it lively. Very, very nice job. Oh–what are the bronze-colored squares made of? They look like bronzite, but you didn’t list that element.
