I love the look! It’s so different!

  2. Asia
    Asia says:

Love this, it almost looks like you are telling a story with the necklace :D

  3. Eeka Mouse
    Eeka Mouse says:

Very nice! I agree w/ Asia, looks like there is a story…. sunbleached wood, late summer/early fall colors, a string of birds across the sky…. (like that bird chain!).

  4. Laud
    Laud says:

Asia, that’s what I was thinking. Near the clasp (the sky) the colors are blue-grays. Then it warms up (sunlight) and cools down with browns and greens by the focal (earth).

Thank you all so much! In the midst of the egg hunt, I know everyone’s distracted, so I appreciate your taking the time to comment.

I spent many years along Lake Huron. The pendant reminded me of the old, weathered house where I stayed. Last fall, I took a trip to New England, which started me thinking of the north Atlantic shore. Still, I didn’t have exactly what I wanted for the necklace until I found the ceramic beads last weekend.

Granny, I’ll send you a message.

I was going to say you can send it straight to me but Granny got to you first! :) Brilliant design!!

    Julie Shane says:

ME third!!! This is one of your best! I also see the “story” in the beads. That’s what speaks to me.
I keep admiring the homestead pendant but am clueless about what to do with it. You have totally found the right place for this piece. :)

  13. Laud
    Laud says:

Aargh! I literally can’t make any more of these! LB sold out on the pendant….

    Am I disappointed? You bet.

  14. Eeka Mouse
    Eeka Mouse says:

You can always take up ceramics and make your own focals… they’ll be dynamite!

  15. Laud
    Laud says:

Y’know, I was thinking about that. I always thought of ceramics as figurines or housewares, which weren’t my goals, but making jewelry pieces could be fun. Hmmm…

    Frida says:

Beautiful, the bird ads movement to piece!!!
