Think Pink

About this design:

I am not too sure whether I like this one. Maybe I should scrap it and start again. Too much pink and too little contrast perhaps?

Components:

Rose Quartz, Pink Opal, Rhodochrosite,Antique silver findings.

A girl can never have to much pink! I think it is quite lovely and would make a wonderful Mother’s Day gift! The long ovals make it classy. Leave as is. It’s beautiful!!

Beautiful mix of pink rocks..yum yum. I don’t feel qualified to give suggestions. The only thing I’d tweak if I had to,would be maybe a bit more metal for contrast? Or maybe a sprinkle of black,to highlight the striations in the Rhodo?
(Little Onyx rondelles,or maybe smoky Quartz)?
It’s still lovely just the way it is.

ohhh Rhochrosite, YUM! The only thing for me is I think the dangle is too long for this piece, just my personal preferenc.

I agree with Crazy Chick about the dangle and would also move the long ovals closer to, but not right at, the bottom of the design. I like the use of only a slight contrast of colors as it gives the necklace/design a quiet feeling as opposed to a busy/loud feeling when there are a lot of different colors. That said I would also say that both have their place.

Too much pink? Depends on what clothing you’re wearing. My best statement pieces are worn with plain solids. However, prints are currently trendy, and coordinated with the right shirt an understated accessory can be just right. Don’t make a visual arguement with your style. Love it the way it is.
