About this design:

Second bezel set stone project for class. I think I held my breath the whole time I was soldering The sterling silver swirls were made from 14 gauge wire, hammered and texture with a brass design plate.

    Thanks everyone! The swirls were actually pretty easy, coiling the 14 gauge wire into a loose spiral. Using a bench block I flattened the swirls first. Then used a brass design plate to texture the pieces. Filed the ends of the wire pieces a bit and rounded the corners. I’ll definitely consider creating these again and just hang the swirls on ear wires.
