A Green Cuff

About this design:

Here is the latest version of the cuff bracelet. I chose green beads to make it because the color looks great with copper.

14 and 24 gauge copper wire, chrysocolla jasper, small chrysoprase nuggets, brass beads, tiny copper colored beads

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I keep thinking I’ll get tired of making these cuffs but it hasn’t happened yet.

Speaking of cuffs, I’m teaching a class today on making one of the cuff variations. It will be fun. :D

Can you please tell me if the 14 gauge is Dead Soft? I just started doing wire wrapping and I was wondering if dead soft would hold it’s shape well enough. Thanks.

  13. Little Round Chick
    Little Round Chick says:

Yes, the wire is dead soft KSD. At 14 gauge anything but dead soft would be a real pain to bend and curl. :D

Thanks for all of the compliments and comments.

I need to start playing around with some new variations. Cuffs are my most popular pieces at the art gallery gift store. :D

BTW I’m glad y’all like the copper and green together. The greens and blues always seem to be in complete harmony with the copper. :D

Everyone should make a green cuff! A few years ago, I made mine with copper wire, copper and turquoise beads – it’s a favorite!
