About this design:
I got the Vintage Japanese glass beads circa 1950/60's from a friend (white/yellow/brown) because they intreagued me.
Components:
I added lgt yellow fw pearls and smokey quarts rondelles with a button/lobster claw clasp. I think the result is very rich looking. I love the way it came out.Read the comments (or add your own)

Deb D Grammy Chick says:Wonderful vintage look…those beads are beautiful! You’ve complimented them perfectly, Cherie, and I love that button clasp. I’d love to know more about that clasp, it’s a great idea!

Cherie D says:Thanks for all the great comments. The button has a nice U-shaped gold bottom which the lobster fits onto nicely. I couldn’t decide what kind of clasp would compliment the beads and a toggle just wouldn’t do for this piece. I just happen to have a lovely button and you see the results! I’ve used buttons with seed bead loops on some bracelets but this is the first necklace, but it won’t be the last!!
