Amber Tulips

About this design:

I am just in love with these Czech Buttons. This is the third type I have worked with so far and by far the fav. When wrapped in the Vintaj filigree it sets the amber off beautifully. It has a mysterious aura about it and the detail is amazing. Paired with the Vintaj filigree and findings - add in a little bit of raspberry fire polished rondells and it looks just right.

Components:

Czech Glass button Czech glass fire polished raspberry rondells Czech Glass bronze with gold fire polished table cut beads Vintaj ladder chain Vintaj findings and jump rings Vintaj daisy bead caps Vintaj hook and eye clasp

What a stunning design. The beads remind me of Garnets. They’re a lovely color! I really like the way you spaced the stations, and didn’t do them all the way to the top. It’s beautifully balanced.
I’d wear this with a black ballerina neck top.
The button is so romantic and elegant.

RM, this is awesome! I too am a huge fan of using Vintaj filigree to wrap a fabulous focal piece. I have some Czech buttons with a dragonfly on them in AB cobalt that I’ve been trying to get around to making into a Vintaj set. Guess I better get er done.

The buttons you’ve used in your design are really beautiful. I haven’t seen these anywhere. Where did you find them? Have you checked out General Bead in San Francisco? I live in Arizona but occasionally get to San Fran. But they also have a website. Their selection of vintage Czech glass buttons is very large.

I’m sure this piece will sell quickly. Have you sold others like it? If so, if you don’t mind sharing, what did you sell them for?

This is so pretty! I love this button as well as the last one you did. I’ve had my eye on some of the czech buttons, they are so gorgeous and tempting, and the way you use the vintage pieces with is awesome!

RM, thanks for the info. Although I think you’re underselling you fabulous design. Especially if that’s a consignment price and you only receive a percentage of it. But I understand if it’s in line with other pieces in the store. I know that sometimes we have to take less than what our creations are worth just to share them with the world. But you should know that if I were a customer I would be willing to pay much more for a piece this stunning!

Thank you – yes I totally agree. It is consignment and I do take a percentage less than even that. BUT :) I sell approx 20 pcs a month because I do keep my prices so reasonable. Ppl buy buy buy. one way I keep my prices low is by buying in wholesale lots whenever possible. Really a big savings.
