I call it gorgeous! What a great color combo you’ve made to compliment that awesome pendant. Great wire wrapping and links!

Susie… it is awesome. I think its one of the prettiest you’ve made. I love prehnite and then to pair it with that blue – its awesome.

    Fresh Baked says:

Love the loopy chain, Susie. I’m certainly not one to try and name a piece of jewelry. I stink at it. However, regarding photos…looks like you might try adjusting the exposure in whatever photo editing program you might use??

Love the blues and greens with the gunmetal wire.

I love all the color coordination of the prehnite coins, the focal and that lovely blue chain. You excel with those wire loops. Someday I will be able to make my own chain like that, too . . .

  10. Elis Mom
    Elis Mom says:

    Thanks!

That blue chain is really a cross between gunmetal and blue….I’ve never seen anything like it. You can get it at JoAnn’s.

Lynda, I think perhaps the screen on my laptop is going out…..I try to compensate for it on befunky.com. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. I also think AM sun is better as well. This was photographed in the early evening once the shade set in…

I have a Chromebook that I could try, but I don’t even know if I can upload photos or not…I think I may need an app…

Love it Susie. I have never heard of prenhite before but it so perfectly matches that lovely pendant. So your loopy chain…you made a small.amd.a big loop with wrapping between?? I like it.

  12. Elis Mom
    Elis Mom says:

Thanks Deb! Yes, that’s exactly how I made the chain, using a pair of multi-sized bail making pliers.

  13. Crazy Beader
    Crazy Beader says:

Great necklace, Susie – - love your loops ! The only names I ever think of are kind of obvious – - how about “Circling Around” or “Going in Circles” ? See, I said they’d be dumb names – - -

  14. Deb Harding
    Deb Harding says:

The pendant reminds me of a god’s eye…except much prettier. Green Goddess…oh wait…that’s a salad dressing.

  15. Lois D
    Lois D says:

LOL, DEB, oh my gosh, you’re a riot.
Love the pendant. I stink at names as well. The pendant reminds me of a propeller (I mean that in a good way) and the first phrase that came to my mind was “First in Flight”. I must need a vacation…:)

  16. Elis Mom
    Elis Mom says:

    LOL Deb and Lois!

I’ve never had green goddess dressing. Is it good?

  17. Laud

Love everything about this. Name? Um…First Love? It’s so soft and innocent.

  18. puppychick labratbecky
    puppychick labratbecky says:

I think Deb is onto something—go with Green Goddess!!!! That is perfect!! It is all even the right color AND the flower pendant could be an edible flower thrown in. :)

  19. Deb Harding
    Deb Harding says:

I’ve never had that salad dressing actually. When I was a kid all I ate was that bright orange French dressing. Now I eat all kinds….except french.
Hmmm Green Innocence….just throwing things out now.

  20. Lois D
    Lois D says:

There’s your next assignment, Deb. A necklace or bracelet called “French Dressing”! Are you sure we aren’t sisters separated at some point in our childhood?? All that was served in our house was “that bright orange French dressing”, too. Period. That’s it. You kids have a choice. French or French :) Haven’t had it since that time.

  21. Elis Mom
    Elis Mom says:

The pendant is actually very chunky and heavy….kinda surprising…

My mom always served thousand island dressing on a lettuce wedge….only she made it from mayo, ketchup, and pickle relish! Can’t say I ever ate it! Who ever came up with thousand island dressing anyway?

  22. Granny Nancy
    Granny Nancy says:

My mom made thousand island dressing from mayo and chili sauce. I love it. Did you decide on a name?

    Great design! Love the color.

Stronger light might help solve the color problem. I photograph most of my work against an open white door that receives fairly strong indirect light. Very professional set up doncha know. :D

Salad dressing… bright orange French stuff, darker orange Russia. Taught school with a lady who made her own dressing. She called it Pauline’s Pea Green Poison. It was tasty, really!

  26. puppychick labratbecky
    puppychick labratbecky says:

the orange French cra.. er dressing was called Catalina and was the only one in my childhood home, too. :)

  27. Deb Harding
    Deb Harding says:

That’s the darker one Becky…it was a darker reddish orange. The one that was candy corn colored was just french. It is so awful tasting now…can’t believe I ate that!!

  28. puppychick labratbecky
    puppychick labratbecky says:

ah! my dad worked for Kraft and Catalina was their big hit back then. ugh. the only good thing we got was free cheddar at Christmas and that was amazing. :)

  29. Deb Harding
    Deb Harding says:

    Mmmmmmmm……cheese!!

  30. Elis Mom
    Elis Mom says:

    LRC, whatever works, right?

You guys are killing me with the salad dressing! How ’bout a nice creamy balsamic vinaigrette? Over a salad of spring greens, red onions, sliced apples, walnuts, and blue cheese crumbles?

Maybe I should call this “Blue Cheese Crumble”?

  31. Deb Harding
    Deb Harding says:

    Mmmm that really sounds good.

    Asia says:

    Yummy!!!

  33. foxhill designs vt
    foxhill designs vt says:

LOL! You are all too funny. I ate the scary orange dressing when I was a kid too.
The green color of the prehnite and the pendant remind me of celadon pottery. How about “celadon goddess” for a name?
