Home For The Harvest

About this design:

When I started this piece, I had it all laid out on my board the way I pictured it, but it didn't end up that way. I had to remove some gem stones and add some plastic and European ceramics to lighten it up. Once I found the right colors and textures it came together quickly.

Components:

From Lima Beads, Picture Jasper nuggets and flat oval(matte), Czech glass, brass bead caps, and brass connector ring. European ceramic rondelle spacers from yukidesigns, focal miniature house bead from elukka, shell spacer rondelles from Michaels, Carved Antiqued Indochine beads from mksupplies, brass spacers, clasp, charms and picasso jasper my stash.

Wanda, this is absolutely gorgeous. The multiple pendant you created is so perfect. The balance of the stones you used is perfections. And the large bead caps gave it a special touch. Wonderful!

Thank you Nancy! I absolutely love it myself, so I’m not sure if I should sell it or keep, LOL. My husband will say you have to sell it, haha ;)

Another work of art, Wanda – - can understand how you would be very tempted to keep it for yourself ! Thanks for listing the sources for your beads – - it took me on a fun shopping trip on etsy.

I you have nothing like it, then you have the perfect “reason” to keep it.

Love this! I can relate….I always have separation anxiety with my jewelry and artwork! LOLOL The focal is charming and everything just melds together beautifully!

I’d keep it! It is just so gorgeous how could you part with it? Or you could price it ridiculously high.

    Fabulous!!!
What are the tubular rondelle pieces? The blue in them is SO pretty! I also like the large beadcaps as “frames” for that grouping of beads.
You have balanced the small groupsings, the medium beads and the large ovals so perfectly!
I agree… Price it high and wear it until someone buys it! :)

Thank you all so much for the lovely comments!

The big tube beads on the right hand side as you look at the picture? They are Picasso jasper.

This is so beautiful Wanda! I too make pieces that I want to keep, but Ron says “You could sell that!”. So I end up with no new jewelry for myself. :(
That’s just fine though, It keeps me hunting for the next project! :)
