Jangly Flower

About this design:

I wanted to make a design with a long chain, but couldn't make myself use just plain, ready-made chain -- I wanted to add something own. The flower design is more or less borrowed from this site, but instead of making a pendant, I decided to make it into a connector. A word of warning: the large rings sometimes snap loose under stress -- next time I will make them smaller, or into eights. (I just snap them back, though -- they keep their shape.)

Components:

Two sizes of chain, and gauge 16 and 20 (or 22?) wire -- Vintaj Natural Brass (LB). Onyx nuggets (black one), recycled glass pearls (LB mostly) and jade (green one)

I love the flower connector!! The green necklace is just such a happy, cheerful piece. It’d be great to wear on a gloomy day!
