Picasso Pizzaz

About this design:

These are some of the remaining Picasso jasper barrels I had left from Dan's necklace. All of these were very bizarrely patterned, but didn't make the cut into the necklace. Again, done with antique copper. More details on my work at simplyadornedjewelry.blogspot.com

Components:

Picasso Jasper, antique copper rounds

Gorgeous, and so earthy. Good choice to use copper,as it really compliemtns the colors of the stones. They are beautiful and fascinating to look at. A lovely unique piece.

@ JC Hamm: The necklace is actually posted here on LB, called Dan’s Picasso. Only thing it’s missing is the clasp.

wow! love this…..more bead envy (as you well described MY beads, ie bland/murky, in your earring picpost) …. mine, being in Oz, seem more suited to the brim of a bush hat as corks to shoo away the flies ha, ha!….yours is how i imagined they would look, simply adorned!…will try shiny as well as antiqued copper..

@ franny: heh…thanks. They were a bit intimidating to work with when I first looked at them. They’re one of those you just have to beat into submission with creativity. Good luck!
