About this design:

This piece is named after the Celtic goddess of earth, and features both brass and copper from Vintaj, as well as ceramic organic shaped beads and a moon pendant, all in greenish brown. The large puffed coins are "Yellow Turquoise Stone" from Michael's ( the $15 carded ones) and I also used Mother of Pearl rounds from there. I hand-formed the Headpin for the focal, and strung the beads with knots between on medium brown leather, round leather cord, using carved stone Celtic knots as connectors and as the piece holding the focal's Headpin. I wrapped the ends of the cord with Vintaj copper wire. The piece is finished with three strands of Mother-and-Son Solid Copper Chain purchased on Etsy, and a hand forged hook and eye clasp from Vintaj Copper Round Wire in 16 Gauge. The ceramic beads and mother of pearl beads are intentionally placed in a different order on each side, in a sort of asymmetrical symmetry. I also forged some of the Vintaj Brass large JumpRings into hammer tone connector links. I'll try and take better photos with my actual camera later this week.

Components:

Vintaj Natural Brass: JumpRings, Parawire; Round Leather Cord in Medium Brown; Solid Copper Mother-and-Son (also called Long-and-Short) Chain; Mother of Pearl Rounds; Yellow Turquoise Stone Puffed Coins; Ceramic Organic Shaped beads and Moon; Carved Stone Celtic Knots ( I believe these are Jasper, not 100% sure, since I got them almost two years ago and forgot to label them properly)

SOO beautiful!I would really like some close-ups of some of the details, but I can already see there is a lot of very good work here — it must have been such fun! I also LOVE to hammer!
