You GO girl!!! Julia, You’ve shared a lot of lovely pieces, but I really think this is my VERY favorite! Purple plus the magatamas plus the caps that look like little baskets holding flowers plus the perfect clasp!!! The touch of chain in the earrings is bonus!!!

Julia, I cannot for the life of me do kumihimo with beads – they never line up correctly. What kind of string do you use? Maybe that is my problem.

    AllureofGemsGlamJulia says:

Del, I use hemp twine (10 lb) or C-Lon thread (.4mm), both I buy from LB.,depending on the hole size of the beads.Japanese beads are more precise in their beads and holes while Czech beads have some defective beads and the holes are not precise so you have to buy more just in case… :) DO NOT BUY CHINESE BEADS!!! Bad quality and who knows what is in it… :(

Wow! Absolutely gorgeous, Julia! I think this is my favorite piece of yours also! The earrings are adorable as well. Like Julie, the bead caps on the earrings remind me of baskets of flowers.
