Once Upon a Time I was a Bracelet

About this design:

It really was a bracelet but it was completely forgettable. When I did the re-work I was in the middle of the doldrums and needed something to work on. Flattened the bracelet, moved the wires here and there, changed the curlicues and strung the beads. Talk about "out there!" This one is and did you notice it is asymmetrical? (grin) One of these days I need to get symmetrical again.

Components:

14 and 24 gauge copper wire, Czech glass beads, my favorite chain from LB, pure copper trigger clasp

Oh so pretty. I really like your reinvention. Had the winter doldrums, did we ;) Looks like you got your mojo back. Very sharp and summery. I’d wear it in a NY minute. I think the “off balance” look you do is fab. Sometimes,I think it takes more creatvity to do that. I really do. I’m on of those chicks that counts every wrap on an earring.LOL

  2. JC Hamm
    JC Hamm says:

You don’t need to get symmetrical, your doing just fine this way.!!! :D .
I love this, as usual you’ve done another fab design, love the color of those czech beads, gorgeous.!!

Thanks for the comments and compliments, Nancy Mc and JC. I’m still having difficulties with the doldrums but I think I see a light at the end of the tunnel. Maybe I’m just tired of winter….like we have winter in So Cal. :D

Love your wire wrapped bead section! The blue really pops next to the copper! The two stands of chain opposite the beads really balances the piece. Beautifully done!

Love your necklace and the title made me LOL! This is gorgeous. May you never find symmetry if this is what you do with asymmetrical designs….

Looks fantastic! Funny how projects have a way of turning out in their own way than our original plans for them. Beautifully done.
