gilded polyclay bracelet

About this design:

I have *finally* found my style! I have been playing with polyclay for a while and have created a few things I like. Actually, Angela has created a few pieces I like!!!
However, I stumbled upon a combo that really makes me smile. Gilders paste and polyclay. Who knew? :)
Each piece has multiple layers of gilders paste and Renaissance polish and more gilders and more polish... until I'm happy with the colors.

Components:

My bracelet bar, lots of raku beads from XAZ, brass findings, Artistic Wire in Gunmetal/Bronze. More bracelet bars. Lots of shapes and colors. The leaf and flower have gilders paste on top of the design. The dark green ovals have the gilders paste deep in the design. The last pic is my mom's favorite... She wants the 3 little flowers dangling from the larger flower as a pendant. Yeah... I'll get to that eventually! :)

Julie great work. I love to work with the clay and I love the gilders paste. I will put some together today. Asia thanks for all you tips. I went to the videos and watched a ton.
We are getting record rain in the Pacific NW so a polymer play day only makes sense.

Hi ladies. THANKS to everyone for the awesome comment and feedback. I’m still playing and learning, but I’m happy with the effect I’m getting.
Asia, I’m using mulitple layers of gilders then Ren wax. The first few layers lose color, but then it gets more sealed. I may play around with matte spray finish.

BTW: I have *finally* opened my Etsy shop! It’s called JustADrop. Stop by and take a peek. So far I have a bunch of earrings listed. The bracelets and necklaces are coming within a few days. Eventually the polyclay pieces will be there.

:) Thanks for all your support.
