Easy Target

About this design:

I labeled this easy target, cause that's what I am. a man was demonstrating the easy knotter at a bead show and of course I had to buy it. Did I need it? Nope. the easy knotter is a cool device. knots can be easily spaced and you can finish a piece in no time.

I have been hoarding the ceramic focal for too long. I kept the necklace simple with seed beads, so the focal can shine. I rewired the focal a couple times cause I could not figure out for the life of me if the shell should face up OR down. what do you all think? common sense sometimes goes right out the window for me. :)

Components:

ceramic focal, size 8 seed beads, sliver clasp. silk thread and I believe jasper.

That is so cool. I have wanted to try one of those easy knotters but have been a little afraid. Love the shell focal.

You made the right decision, it is wonderful, I’m not very good at knotting and would like to incorporate more of it in my designs, I might give it a try :D

Thank you Kat and Asia. Kat if I can do it, you can. it took me longer to figure out stones and design than it did to knot

I forgot to mention it totally takes the guesswork out. Love to see what you both make.

I bought the knotted also but I’ve yet to use it! Like you I thought I should have it.
BTW…I love the Lima Beads web site…so bright and cheerful. Makes you want to buy everything.

Love the focal! It looks great the way you have used it. Of course you could have used a side to side orientation and complicated the decision making process even more. :D

Seriously, it is a excellent design and I really like the way it looks in third photo. The colors in the beads and the focal are great together.

Now about that easyknotter……Do I need it? No. Would I like to have one?.. Yes! Will I get one… probably. I just love new gadgets and this one looks like FUN! :)

I’m glasd to hear about the easy knotter; when you started talking about it I thought it was that square-ish, plastic metal thing that’s been around fofr awhile – with 2 ‘points’ on it. I might try this. I like your necklaces; can be worn separate and chains can be added to the knotted one.

Oh cool! Another gadget!! I love gadgets!! And tools! The shell can go either way and it looks good the way it is! Love both pieces.

Agree-the shell can go either way, but I like how you have it. The two pieces look fab together!
