Theme and Variations

About this design:

I like the graceful lines in the frame of this style. Three different bracelets with the same basic style only one has been reversed. The first one is the most recent and the third one is the earliest version. I've included both front shots and back shots so the lines of the design can be more clearly seen.

Components:

12, 14 and 24 gauge copper wire, stone, glass, crystal and chips (many are orphan beads)

A wonderful good morning to all of you and thanks for the wonderful compliments. I keep thinking I’ll give the cuffs a rest but seems like there is always one more that I need to make. In a few weeks I’ll be teaching another class in making one of the styles of cuffs. Not sure which one but I think I’ll stay with the one I did last time since I already have the instructions and pictures printed out. :D

Amazing wire work! Would probably need a class too, to learn how to plan these :-) ! Beautiful stones too!

    Nancy Mc… For you I’ve got such a deal…. :D

Monica, the frame is all that is really planned. For the beads I generally choose the color/colors I want and go from there. Placement of the beads is basically random. It is a good way to use those orphan beads. :D

Oh, these are beautiful! I would love to take this class from you. You’re not in CA anywhere, are you? The multiple views makes it easy to see the steps but I’m sure you have prized skills that make the bracelets look so random and planned at the same time that only your class could teach. Especially love, love, love the green one!

I live in Zamora … about 30-40 minutes north of Sacramento … not anywhere near San Diego. :( oh, well, it was worth asking.
