color blocking

About this design:

I've seen this style/design elsewhere but thought I would give it a whirl. I switched gears a little from using natural stone beads to using glass beads in a color-blocking layout.

Components:

Silver wire, glass beads, handmade ear wires

No worries, I just adjusted my iPad and can view your beautiful earrings right side up:)
I really like these as I am partial to lime green & blue together. Nice wire work as well.

Thanks C Tayler! I logged into a real computer and fixed it. Whew! I like these colors together as well. I think the bottom beads are a yellow/lime green mix– not sure which, but nice and bright nonetheless.

These are wonderful, and I like both pair. The wire work is super! If I can ask.. What tool did you use to get such perfect shapes?

  15. Warped Wire Studio
    Warped Wire Studio says:

Hi, Nancy Mc– I just used a graduated mandral. It is an inexpensive hand tool– works for many things.

  16. Warped Wire Studio
    Warped Wire Studio says:

Mandrel– sorry… But, you could use a sharpie pen or round pencil, depending on the size curve you want to add.
