Rustic Flower bracelet

About this design:

Greetings to all my fellow beaders !!!
Well, I love to browse around the Internet looking for what strikes my eye. My passion is making bracelets.
I wear them the most of all of the jewelry. I can't wear earrings as they seem to infect or become allergic
and my holes are closed. I would need to re-pierce my earlobes. Nah...not going to do it. Since I live here in Arizona and right now it is damn hot.
I keep my jewelry simple. Anyway, I found this really nice simple artistic hand crafted bracelet connector. Love the colors. And it was affordable for me. I found this at Etsy.

The flower connector which is my focal was easy for me to make my bracelet. I was looking for simplicity. In my bead stash I found these beads to incorporate into the bracelet. I used antique brass for my findings to keep the bracelet with a rustic touch to it. I couldn't decide if I wanted leather with wood beads as that would have worked out very well too. I have small wrists and I wanted this to be somewhat dainty. The beads are very old and I think that they are for the most part glass. I'm not quiet sure though. The brown ones shine like cat eye's. All in all they seemed to have worked out for me.

Chris, I love the connector you found–it jumped off the screen at me! Love the colors and how you complimented it perfectly! I totally agree with you about the Arizona heat–it seems each day I notch down the A/C one more degree! One of my biggest problems is that I don’t like to wear a lot of my necklaces due to the heat and perspiration–but stick to bracelets and lightweight necklaces with glass around the neckline. It’s a real bummer! The only good thing about the heat is that we tend to stay inside and that’s the perfect opportunity to spend time beading! :)

Sometimes simplicity makes a loud statement and in this case it does. I also like my jewelry to be simple but just because it’s simple doesn’t mean it’s not great! I love this. This is the type of piece I would wear all the time. You did a wonderful job.

Certainly looks like Arizona! (The one I’ve seen on telly — never actually been there…) Lovely, wearable piece! And CC, I also tend to think about using materials that can stand wear and wash although I live in a much colder climate.
Chris, I have the same problem with my ears, annoying — I had a great collection of eclectic earrings 20 or so years ago, then… stuffed away in various boxes (OK, looking at them now, some are plain weird…)
Now I make earrings for other people, and have to guess out of memory what they would be like to wear…

Love the colors and beads you chose to go with that beautiful connector! Did the connector come from SusieQ beads…kinda looks like it did.
