Laboradorite Nugget and Faceted Gemstone Necklace

About this design:

I was inspired to make this necklace after I found these HUGE faceted laboradorite nuggets. I kept them for a few months, trying to decide how to use them ... it finally came together last weekend so wanted to share with you. Wore it last week to work and almost created a frenzy! :-) It's now in the front cabinet in a boutique in Winter Park, FL.

Components:

vermeil chain, vermeil beads, laboradorite nuggets, and 3 sizes of faceted laboradorite briolettes.

Is it still in the front cabinet?

Well, I went to the shop today and believe it or not, it’s still there. But, I can tell it’s been tried on quite a few times as the briolettes are a little askew, which has created even more flashes of light when you walk by the lighted cabinet.

Heard that there’s one woman who wants it, but she just bought a $2,000+ painting so can’t quite justify a necklace right now. Necklace/painting, I can justify easily! LOL. Happy Beading to you all! SLS
