Supplies you’ll need:

  • 4x 14mm thread wrapped beads
  • 2x 18mm thread wrapped beads
  • 2x leverback earrings
  • 2x headpins
  • 4x 3" cuts of 20ga-24ga wire

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

I like working from the bottom up on earrings. Start by stringing your headpin: bead cap - 18mm bead - bead cap. Then create a wire wrap loop. Try to keep the loop snug to your bead cap, this will secure the placement of the caps against the bead so they don't shift around too much. You could also try dabbing a touch of adhesive onto the underside of the caps, prior to placing against the thread-wrapped bead.
Finish your earring design by creating and linking together 2 wire wrapped links using the same bead caps, but with the 14mm beads. Don't forget to loop the first one onto your larger thread bead charm!
