Smokey And Snakeskin
About this design:
I love green snake skin, it's so versatile. My love of smokey quartz is just as strong so I am glad they go so well together. Will start next week on more adventurous designs but for now have been sticking to the KISS principle as advised by little round chick. (Keep It Simple Stupid - LRC was kind though and changed the stupid into sweetie).

Faithful Chick aka Faith says:Bree my problem is I don’t have very many beads yet. Left over from the necklace I made and some smokey quarts and tourmalated and a pale green tourmalated. I gotta get on the stick. Ted’s hospital trip and bad back sort of put the brakes on me doing much. Have to clean house get up a tree and sing carols etc. Just have so many things that are everyday that piled up. Ugh!!

I’ve got 1 1/2 days to clean the house from top to bottom, get all the Christmas baking done (am going to freeze it) and make a huge batch of passionfruit curd to put in jars and decorate before I go on 4 days of night shift and visitors start arriving. But here I am on LB gas bagging.. I’ll panic later
Glad to hear that Ted came out of his op ok, keep me up to date with his progress. Perhaps you should draw up a bead wish list and leave it lying around your family and friends to see… lol, it’s worth try and I’m sure your deserving.

Leigh D says:I still have to remind myself to this day to keep it simple (and I have been beading for over 6 yrs now) – I get tied up in doing elaborate designs that end up looking crazy sometimes. I always try to remember that simple is classic and elegant – Just like this piece. Great Job!

By the way, I will have to take a picture of my bead wall. I have too many beads; it’s hard sometimes to think of what to use next. My bead wall resembles a small bead store. :::sigh:::
