Rosary for MIL
About this design:
my MIL , quite out of the blue, converted to Catholicism this year, so (inspired by Plucky Chick's beautiful rosaries posted on Lima) I made her a rosary for Christmas. The Pater beads are lampwork beads bought from an artist on Etsy (julsbeads). The cross is of St Therese of Lisieux, also called "the Little Flower", one of my MIL's favorite saints.

Helen G aka tea chick says:thank you so much everyone! Since I am protestant (Episcopalian) I have never made a rosary before, so I’m very grateful for the help and support I received. MIL and I have a bit of a difficult relationship (she disapproves of me because I’m liberal and she is very conservative), so I hope she likes it. Heading out to drive to Virginia this morning for Christmas with the in-laws, bringing my little laptop and The Garden chickies with me!

K H says:Helen, I also Episcopalian, but my parish has a strong devotion to Our Lady and the Rosary. I make both beaded and knotted Rosaries. This is a beautiful Rosary, and I am sure that it will insire your DMIL to spend some good quality time with Our Lady!!!
