K H says:Winter looks so much prettier in Finland than in St. Louis!!!!
It’s a whopping 15* here right now. I have been stuck in the house most of the weekend with no inspiration to get anything done!

Queen Ann Designs says:These pictures are the reason I like snow, but not when you have 3+ feet of snow on the ground and the snow days at school are adding up and making for a longer school year. But I love your pictures!!!!

Faithful Chick aka Faith says:The snow pictures are wonderful Gunilla, and Harmony on Strings. This just serves to remind me of why I moved to Florida. It took me several years to drive past someones drive lane and not think to myself, “Boy I wouldn’t want to have to shovel or snow blow that quarter mile out in winter”. LOL

ChickyD aka Debra says:Gorgeous snow pictures, Gunilla! No snow here in Central Texas…just the cold. Again, such lovely photos!

K H says:Define “cold” Chicky D – last night it went below zero in St. Louis – fortunatly today it warmed up a bit, and at the moment it is still 20*. They say that it will be warmer and raining by the end of the week. The only good thing about the cold snap is that the ground is frozen, so the baby doggies aren’t tracking in mud.

Faithful Chick aka Faith says:Mr Murphy cat doesn’t understand the cold. He sits sometimes all day on the screen porch. I am letting him out when he yowls every so often in the day but not very long Maine Coone cats are a cold hardy breed but he has always been inside.
I started this comment to tell you I used to breed doxy’s and they lived inside we started with mom and dad and kept 1 from 2 litters. Oh boy do I miss puppy breath. It is better than children because mommy dog has the worries to an extent. LOL

Gunilla B says:Thanks everyone! It was “only” about -13*C when I took these pictures and we probably don’t have more than maybe 50 cm (about 2 feet) of snow, but it’s quite a lot for the South of Finland.

Sali Jo GemsChica Chick says:Gunilla your snow pix look like what I saw in MinneSOTA this past month. Beautiful! BUT COLD!!! When it is 0 degrees….what is that???? 0 degrees????????????? oh well…It got to -18 at night…but we went out when it was 6 and it seemed ok if you had enough clothes on…..when we got back to the Atlanta airport we had to wait outside in an open area for our ground transportation…it was prob 40 something and that was the coldest I had been in a month of 0′s!!! It is all in the humidity. Anyway….lovely fotos.
