    thanks ladies. little round chick-yes i loved how easy the copper was to work with. i just started bending and shaping and the knot jut seemed to flow without kinks or any trouble. also no matter how you do the knot, twist, or shape on top it would be ok because it is freeform. anyone that is considering making this type of ring should try it!!
