Artistic Smoke

About this design:

This is one of my favorites to wear. It feels really good on. I don't wear many chunky necklaces. A friend is getting me to expand my horizons. I never thought I could wear stones this big. I was also trying something new here stinging the pendant sideways instead of hanging down.

Components:

I don't know what the yellow facted stone is, Smoky Quartz, Artistic Jasper Pendant

    Oh, Joy! Another mystery stone..

Great necklace, love the color and the design.

When I transferred these photos from my camera to my computer they looked great. But when I up loaded them to the LB site they came out very dark.
Sorry – don’t know what to do about that. Not sure why they darkened during the up load.

We artistic types don’t always do well with technical stuff. Not to worry. :)

I think they look great. Can I play guess the mystery stone. My first guess was a large chunky citrine. Only because I was looking at some somewhere and wanted it so bad the other day. Then my second guess was going to be maybe a jade. Hard to tell if you are not there in person you know. LOL. I know one thing I love this piece it is chunky but not too chunky looking. Maybe… I could wear it maybe not. Your chunky friend Miss Faith in cold again northern Florida. Tee Hee.

What a beautiful necklace, the colors really compliment each other. The yellow faceted stone could also be yellow opal .

Great color combo and design! I also tend to string my large stones vertically in front — this gives me a great idea for using them horizontally instead! I really like the look! :D

My guess for the mystery stone? Black onyx in disguise…..LOL

Mystery stone looks very much like some pale yellow jade I have purchased….

I adore that smoky quartz cut (the flat faceted oval)!

Now that’s thinking out of the box. Love the sideways stone. I may have to try that too!

Thanks Beaders. So glad you like this piece. I am inclined to go with the Yellow Opal guess. Seeing the stone in person – I just don’t think it is Jade. Dont’ ya just love those mystery stones. It’s fun trying to figure out what they are.
