About this design:
I know it is past Christmas, but I was this was such a fun piece to make with the striped turquoise/howlite (vendor listed it as turquoise, but who knows - either way it is certainly dyed:)
I am not around as much lately because we are working on a move from Texas to Ohio, but I do check in here and I am just so dazzled by the beautiful work and the talented artists represented here! We want to live near our kids and grandkids. However, we have been in this house since 1981, so there is much to sort thru and my goal is to get rid of at least 50%. I am moving to be near people, not dust stuff!

Linda Talbott says:I love this. The pendant is incredible, and I really like the way you used the ribbon and seed beads for the pendant to hang from.
Good luck with your move. I have been trying to convince my hubby to move (from MA to MD) so we can be closer to family, but so far he is adamant about staying. :::sigh:::

KittyMom Linda says:Looks good enough to eat. Like ribbon candy. Texas to Ohio, big adjustment. Bet you are excited. Are you a native Texan?
On Jan 18, 2010 at 11:06 pm #
Kathryn Lobert says:Not a native Texan, but have been here since I was 6 (1958), so Texas has been “home” I guess. Over the last several years, I have come to realize that home is not a place, it is the people I love.
Thanks so much for all of the nice words on the design and all the good wishes on the move:)
