The Healer's Neckpiece

About this design:

This is a piece to be worn by Healers dealing with powerful energies and people who are not well in some way(s). The black kyanite frontspiece is a strong one way energy conductor, it lets out good energy from you but doesn't allow you to be touched by harmful toxic energies from the one you heal. It has other powerful gemstones. It is worn as a ceremonial piece. This one is huge on me, but I use it because the energies I work with are big.

Components:

Raw Kyanite, Accuflex heavy 49 string, sterling silver wire, African Prehnite, African Turquoise, Amethyst, Tourmaline (Black), BAmber, Baltic, Ivory colored Carved Bone, Dzi Beads, various pure copper beads, and also use any gemstone beads that protect you from your own weaknesses as well.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1:
1. Assemble all beads, beading materials, tools.
Step 2:
2. On a bead board, place the larger spray of Kyanite, and place your beads to determine the length and bead order for your piece. Cut your beading wire to size p" on each side.
Step 3:
Wire wrap your Kyanite pendant. It should run sideways in most cases, the smaller part starting on the left to the larger part on the right. No fancy wiring necessary, just wrap and end by incorporating 3 loops on what you decide is the back to string it to your cut beading wire(in 3 places).
Step 4:
Start beading from center to back on each side paying attention to which beads will be across from the other. This is NOT a symetrical piece, each side will be different. Leave at least 2" of wire for finishing. Use bead stoppers on each end of the wire to save your work from falling off the wire during the finishing process.
Step 5:
Attach with crimps a creative clasp, a heavy one. Finish with crimp covers, trim threads, put in an amethyst druze cathedral or cup or just a bunch of amythest beads and clean your necklace this way most every time you use it in your healing. I don't let others try on this neckpiece, unlike most of my others. Best luck. For more info:drlauriesherman@opus-arts.com

    Vampire Chickie Ravin says:

Wow! I need to invest in some kyanite then, I have a very bad habit of drawing the other persons pain into myself first, then grounding it out, as my energies are extremely fire based, I can never seem to ground it out completely, some of it inevitably stays with me. Beautiful piece, definitely into my favorites.
Brightest Blessings, and Wind to thy Wings,

I should make myself something like that in amethyst.
